I SEE ROB FORD'S VISIT TO VANCOUVER IS GOING WELL

MAYOR ROB FORD, BEHAVING IN TYPICALLY MAGISTERIAL FASHION
at a council meeting. The mayor is the subject of a new book called Crazy Town: The Rob Ford Story, and all things considered, I think "crazy" might be an understatement.

ROBYN DOOLITTLE
Robyn Doolittle, the tiny mighty reporter who helped expose Toronto Mayor Rob Ford's incredibly complex, crack-smoking genius to his gobsmacked electorate, has written a book with even more succulent details in it. Crazy Town: The Rob Ford Story launches on Monday and if you think Rob is unhappy about it, think again. In fact, he went out of his way to drum up publicity for it yesterday by getting ticketed for jaywalking in Vancouver instead of simply visiting the Capilano Suspension Bridge like everyone else does. ("Anyone know how to get to the Downtown East Side, mon?" he was likely about to ask in fluent patois when he was nabbed.)
Of course the surprising thing is that I don't think anybody here in Toronto even knew our naughty mayor had got out, let alone made it all the way to Vancouver. We're obviously going to have to rethink that plan of leaving Dougie in charge of the door.
